  1. Fuel injectors (located near the intake manifold)
  2. Mass airflow sensor (MAF)
  3. Camshaft position sensors (CMP) (located at the rear of each cylinder head cover)
  4. Oil pressure switch (located at the lower front of the engine)
  5. Knock sensors (KS) (located under the intake manifold
  6. Crankshaft position sensor (CKP) (front side of engine behind exhaust manifold)
  7. Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) (located at the rear of engine)
  8. Ignition coils (located under air filter on top of each cylinder head covers)
  9. Air Fuel Ratio Sensors (AFRS) (located in each exhaust manifold)
  10. Electronic Throttle Body / Throttle position sensor (TPS)
  11. Camshaft Oil Control Valves (rear top of each cylinder head cover)

I wish that more detailed pictures were available outside of a Toyota Parts shop, there’s three coolant temp sensors as well as two thermo fan sensors, trying to find the faulty coolant sensor without a clue as to were the other two are hiding is a pain in the bum.

Unable to find/locate vvt sensor in my 1998 Toyota Vienta.
Haynes manual also doesn’t mention it

Vvt solenoids, or oil control valves. If you take the engine cover off, you will see them on the valve covers each side. Two wire connectors. They sink down into the valve cover and look kind of diagonal.

My car when I match down the throttle pedal the engine respond partially most atimes.
We have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter and equally cleaned the nozzles
