View with cosmetic engine cover installed.  2010 VW GTI 2.0L R4 TFSI
  1. Fuel injectors (attached to cylinder head next to intake manifold toward front of vehicle)
  2. Mass airflow sensor (MAF)
  3. Camshaft position sensor (CMP) (located on side of cylinder head toward front of vehicle)
  4. Oil pressure switch (located lower left front of engine)
  5. Engine Speed sensor (ESS) (right rear of engine at the bottom)
  6. Engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) (located at front side of cylinder head under intake)
  7. Ignition coils (under cover on top of engine)
  8. Electronic Throttle Control / Throttle Position sensor (ETC) (lower front of engine)
  9. Air Fuel Ratio Sensor (AFRS) (located in exhaust manifold toward rear of engine compartment)
  10. High Pressure Fuel Pump (right rear of engine)
  11. Fuel Rail Pressure sensor (FPRS)
  12. Knock Sensors (KS) under intake manifold)
  13. Camshaft Adjustment Valve (front of the cylinder head
  14. Charge Air Pressure sensor (attached to intake tube in front)
