Mitsubishi Trouble Code Info96 & later are OBD2 systems and require a scanner.Accessing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
94-95 Mitsubishi Diamante Retrieval Without Scan
Tool
Other 95 models require a diagnostic trouble code check harness(part
# MB991529) to ground terminal #1

- Cycle the ignition key On-Off-On-Off-On within 5 seconds.

- Count the number of times the malfunction indicator lamp (check engine lamp) on the instrument panel flashes on and off. The number of flashes represents the trouble code. There is a slight pause between the flashes representing the first and second digits of the code. Longer pauses (approx. 4 seconds) separate individual trouble codes.
- Repair the malfunction while referring to the inspection chart for diagnostic trouble codes.
- After disconnecting the battery cable from the battery (-) terminal for 10 seconds or more, reconnect the cable.
- Start the engine and run it at idle for about 15 minutes after the engine has warmed up.

Good morning friend:
The codes in the first table apply for the mitubishi dakar L200, from 2006?
The scan of my pick up yields the following trouble codes:
12, 13 and 52. Could you help me identify them?
Regards;
Ebert Paredes
i have a 2000 Mitsubishi challenger with a 6g74 engine in it and its has the code 36 ignition timing adjustment signal fault cant anyone guide me on how to fix this problem ?
I have a Mitsubishi challenger 6G74 engine. Did manual Scan with test wire but no fault codes found, still ignition producing no sparks
1996 Mitsubishi challenger petrol. Abs light staying on. Would a abd 2 reset tool do the job. One of the terminals was corroded so cleaned it up. Thanks
How to recover codes on ob1? Without scanner! On which pin will be top on?
Thanks regards: kelvin
1996 Monteiro SR, codes will not show ready after multiple offs and on, multiple miles driven and battery disconnected and reconnected before all of that
I have a 2002 Mitsu Montero Sport that recently failed the Oregon DEQ test. The reason was due to the “Diagnostic Trouble Code” P0431. “Catalyst 1 Effeciency Below Threshold- Bank 2” What does this mean? What is required to repair it? Possibly, at what cost?
The DEQ deadline to have this repair done is in a few days.
Thanks
Please send reply to my email.
Tom. This code is due to a plugged or defective catalytic convertor. Each convertor costs different but the usual cost of the part is around $200. If not a direct fit, some welding must be done. I would prepare to pay $200+. Good luck.
I have a 4g94 engine
Which have a fault code P0300 ( random/ multiple misfire )
What should I do to solve this problem ?!
