Accessing Trouble Codes

Checking
  • Switch ignition ON.
  • Simultaneously press and hold the A/C control panel ‘OFF’ and ‘Warmer’ buttons Image 1 [1] & [2]
  • When all segments of the display  Image 1 [3] illuminate: Release the A/C control panel ‘OFF’ and ‘Warmer’ buttons
  • Trouble codes will be displayed in the driver information center  Image 1 [3]
  • Trouble codes will be displayed in ascending order
NOTE: All ECM codes start with the letter ‘E’.  Trouble codes for other systems may also be displayed
  • All current trouble codes end with the letter ‘C’.
  • All history trouble codes end with the letter ‘H’.
  • If no ECM trouble codes are stored, ‘NO ECM CODE’ will be displayed.
  • When all trouble codes have been displayed:
  • Press the ‘RESET’ button Image 1 [4]
  • Switch ignition OFF.

Clearing Trouble Codes

  • Switch ignition ON
  • Simultaneously press and hold the A/C control panel ‘OFF’ and ‘Warmer’ buttons Image 1 [1] & [2]
  • When all segments of the display  Image 1 [3] illuminate: Release the A/C control panel ‘OFF’ and ‘Warmer’ buttons
  • Trouble codes will be displayed in the driver information center  Image 1 [3]
  • Trouble codes will be displayed in ascending order
NOTE: Pressing and releasing the ‘LOW’ button will bypass trouble code display
  • When all trouble codes have been displayed:
  • Press and release the ‘LOW’ button Image 1 [5] until ‘ECM’ is displayed
  • Press and release the ‘HI’ button Image 1 [6]
  • Press and release the ‘LOW’ button until ‘ECM CLEAR CODES’ is displayed
  • Press and release the ‘HI’ button
  • ‘ECM CODES CLEAR’ will be displayed for 3 seconds
  • Press the ‘RESET’ button Image 1 [4]
  • Switch ignition OFF
