A day at the trade show

This was the ASC Trade Show in Ontario,California March 30- April 1,2001
The show was geared toward the professional mechanic, but we felt that there would be enough new product info for both, the professional and the Do It Yourselfer. Some of these products we will be working on reviewing as time goes on. There were many other vendors at the trade show that were of interest, such as a product called "WHAT QUITS FIRST?" by Lenehan Research, which was of great interest. We will be working on obtaining more information and adding it to the review articles.
Baum Tools Unlimited showed off their Import diagnostic scanners. One of few diagnostic scanners that will do European imports.
Interro Systems Inc had a nice booth where they showed off their hand held diagnostic tools.
Motor Information Systems displayed some of their technical manuals.
Vision Estimator by Wrencheadpro Systems was a very interesting product for small shops or large shops. It combines a labor guuide with online parts from the local supplier. We will be trying out their demo disk in the near future.
Ease Diagnostics had a very interesting and seemingly powerful scanner selection. We obtained a demo software disk from them and will be looking to see what the advantages of this scanner will be.
Mitchell Repair had their manuals and systems set up for display.
AC Delco had their booth set up. They could have definitely had some demo products to view and check out..
ALLDATA came prepared, alot of information and set up to demo working programs.
My Repair Shop showed off their shop management tools to help shops manage their information.

This was just a small portion of the trade show.
